Lymph node tracing of prostate cancer

The number(s) and location(s)of SLN(s) of prostate cancer can be detected by using NIR fluorescence imaging system. Injection of the indocyanine green (ICG) was preoperatively performed under transrectal ultrasound guidance in both lobes of the prostate. In approx 3-5 minutes after injection of equal ICG into base, midportion and apex of each prostate lobe, fluorescence imaging of lymph nodes appeared and lasted for about 2 hours.
